Muy interesante tus palabras y los articulos asociados. Yo tambien soy un creyente del enfoque en el cliente (El cliente y no el producto).
Cuando asumi la Gerencia de Marketing en GM el 20005, me encontré con el equipo de analista de productos centrados en los origenes: La Razón de esto? Me dijeron que facilitaba las negociaciones de precio.
Perdón pero no lo comparto les dije, y los ágruupe en: Uno a cargo de clientes “Familias”, otro “Jovenes” y el tercero “Empresas”. Y les pedi que se enfocaran en analizar el comportamiento de sus segmentos, su competencia, que medios preferian sus target groups, donde pasaban su tiempo libre, etc.
También me anime a crear un area que unia (teniamos poco headcount) Research, DDBB, CRM y Digital activities. Esa florecio entre el 2006 y 2010 y hoy GM Chile esta haciiendo un gran esfuerzo en eso. Pero aun falta mucho, y lo podriamos hablar cuando nos veamos.

The idea of making money and gather lots of things turns people into machines that live to work instead of work to live. There’s nothing wrong with striving at work, but people must watch out for signs that they have begun to work themselves to death.

They end up sacrificing their family, their friends, their life; and may achieve professional goals, but they lose themselves … and at the end they wonder if the loss is worth the gain.

I was hoping to read your blogs about the agencies rol and parenting… are those reviews going to be posted anytime soon?
